Students Development Cell:
Subhedar Ramji Ambedkar Education Society, Wardha’s Mahatma Jyotiba Fule College of Social Work, Yavatmal believes in holistic development of student which emphases on the social, emotional, physical, mental, cultural, and intellectual development of a student. The vision of the institution is student centric, and the Students’ Development Cell represents the vision of the institution in true sense by promoting and co-ordinating the different activities for overall development of students. The Student Development Cell is an extension and linkage of Board of Students’ Development, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati, University, Amravati. The Cell implements the various student centric activities and student welfare schemes.
As per section 56 (2) of The Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016, there shall be a Students’ Development Cell in the colleges and recognized institutes to devise an operational level mechanism to assist the students. Adhere to the provision, Subhedar Ramji Ambedkar Education Society, Wardha’s Mahatma Jyotiba Fule College of Social Work, Yavatmal established the Students’ Development Cell. Objectives:

- Skill Enhancement Workshops: Organizing sessions on communication, leadership, critical thinking, interview preparation, and other soft skills.
- Career Guidance & Mentoring: Providing career counselling, placement assistance, and facilitating mentor-mentee programs.
- Personal & Psychological Support: Offering individual counselling, mental health awareness drives, and stress management workshops.
- Welfare Initiatives: Implementing anti-ragging measures, gender sensitization programs, facilities for students with disabilities, and grievance redressal cells.
- Co-curricular & Extra-curricular Engagement: Promoting student clubs, cultural activities, sports events, and leadership opportunities.
- Orientation & Awareness: Conducting induction programs for new students and awareness campaigns on various social and health issues.
