Message to Students
Dear Student,
While I was active in the progressive movement based on the values of equality, freedom, fraternity, and justice promoted by Tathagat Gautam Buddha, Sant Kabir, Mahatma Phule, Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, I found that the participants in social movements are generally from the economically backward Bahujan community.
Professional social work education has been established by our organization with the primary objective of ensuring that the participation of youth in social movements is guided by values, the principles of the Indian Constitution, and scientific knowledge of social work. At the same time, it seeks to ensure that young individuals engaged in social work and social movements do not face financial hardships in their future lives.
We are pleased to state that for the last three decades, these institutions have played a significant role in providing educational opportunities to thousands of students from marginalized sections of society, particularly those from rural backgrounds, who aspire to receive quality higher education.
We sincerely hope that our educational society continues to provide quality education and contributes not only to improving the educational standards of the Vidarbha region and the state of Maharashtra, but also towards building the nation envisioned by our leaders and icons.
