  • Circulation: Handles borrowing and returning of books. Provides membership services and manages loan periods.
  • Cataloguing /Technical Processing: Responsible for organizing and describing library materials, creating the online catalogue for easy searching.
  • Reference: Assists users with research queries, provides access to reference materials (dictionaries, encyclopaedias), and offers guidance on information resources.
  • Periodicals: Offers a collection of journals, magazines, and newspapers related to social work and allied fields. Provides access to current issues and back volumes.
  • Acquisition: Manages the selection and purchase of new books and other resources based on faculty recommendations and library needs.
  • Reprographic: Provides photocopying, printing, and scanning services to support student learning and research.
  • Book Bank Section: Offers textbooks to students on a long-term loan basis to support their academic needs, particularly for those with financial constraints.
  • Bound Volume Section: Houses past years of journals and magazines, permanently bound for preservation and long-term access.
  • Rare Books Section: A collection of valuable and historical books. Access is restricted and requires special permission.
  • Open Access Section: Features a readily accessible collection of books and resources for browsing and immediate use.
  • Newspaper Clipping Section: Maintains a collection of newspaper articles related to social issues, local events, and topics relevant to social work.
  • GFATM – HIV/AIDS Books Section: A dedicated collection of books and resources focusing on HIV/AIDS, supported by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM). This section aims to provide comprehensive information on prevention, treatment, and social aspects of HIV/AIDS.
